Between 1973 and 1978, the Bay City Rollers sold more than 300 million records worldwide. With more than fifteen Top 10 hits, the Bay City Rollers are one of the top selling bands of all time.  It should also be noted that unlike many of the boy bands of today, the BCR not only wrote many of the album cuts but also played their own instruments not only in concert but on the recordings of each album.
